Hillheads Farm supplies us with the freshest fruit and vegetables. A family run business in the Killingworth area of Newcastle. The farm was established in the 1930s as a small poultry farm and was then developed into a retail & wholesale fruit, veg & poultry farm shop over 25 years ago.

 We work closely with Hillheads to try and keep our menu as seasonal as possible.

Kearsley Farm

We are a small family run business with 7 employees, based in the heart of Northumberland. We farm 200 acres of arable land but the focus of the business is our 40,000 free range hens, which we raise ourselves from day old chicks. By doing this we ensure a high quality of bird welfare throughout the hens lives.

Established as a fishmongers, family run business in 1926 linked to a Newcastle based fishmongers. Taylors went it alone, running their fishmonger business from along the key-side in North Sheilds.

The Taylor name is well known in the North East area, a major buyer at North Shields auctions, with over 85 years’ experience in fresh fish, Taylor Foods is also the largest employer in the fishing industry in the North East. 

Sourcing fish responsibly is paramount to our business. We passionately believe in promoting the most sustainable products available to us. We work closely with our fish and seafood suppliers, both mainstream and specialist. We have links with NGOs such as MSC to develop and market sustainable alternatives.

We are Pink Lane Coffee, Newcastle-based craft coffee roasters dedicated to sourcing, roasting and sharing with our customers only the best coffee possible. 

We select only 100% arabica single origin coffee which is ethically and responsibly sourced from growers around the world.

We source all of our coffee with each country’s season in mind, and the coffee we offer will likewise change in accordance with these seasons. By working closely with partner importers we are able to source the best seasonal coffees available. 

Consistency is of the utmost importance to us at Pink Lane Coffee, and by using the best technology available and measuring very precisely we are able to demonstrate consistency with our roast profiles. We roast, taste, adjust and repeat until we are confident that we have roasted the best-tasting coffee possible.

We roast all of our coffee carefully and with the lightest possible touch, allowing the unique characteristics of each coffee to shine through.
